Whether you want to cover your pergola or any other opening, the vertical cassette awning is the ideal solution for protecting you from the sun’s rays, but also from light winds and light rain. What’s more? It also protects you from mosquitoes, unwelcome guests on a terrace. With a 105mm or 115mm cassette, depending on the structure to be covered, you’re guaranteed to increase relaxation time and comfort a hundredfold. External awnings with guides have a simple, tried and tested system for easy fabric tensioning.
This system allows the load bar to be locked in place and the fabric then tensioned using the torque-limiting motor, so the fabric will remain in place during a light gust of wind. In the event of a gust or stronger wind, the fabric must be rolled up.
Retractable side closure
Unlike the “claustra” solution the sliding enclosure provides effective protection for the right or left gables of your pergola. Protect yourself from the sun and gain privacy without closing off the opening to the outside when you want to. At the end of the evening, unrolling the vertical awning on each side of your pergola improves comfort by retaining the heat built up during the day, for example.
Sliding fabric
The advantage of our system is its simplicity and reliability. Our systems are always designed to be accessible and durable, and the sliding box is no exception to this rule, thanks to a simple system that allows you to put the fabric back in place if it has been dislodged by a gust of wind without compromising the entire system.
Acrylic or micro-perforated fabric
Our enclosures can be ordered by professionals with the frames alone or with the fabric included. The screen is blackout thanks to the lateral guidance of the fabric. The choice of fabric will depend on your needs and the aesthetic you want. In addition to appearance and the degree of blackout you want, UV resistance, tear resistance and fire resistance are all features to be compared between a micro-perforated or acrylic fabric. Finally, the colour is also very important for adding a personal touch to your exterior.
