The entire Mitjavila range of retractable shelters is based on a same system with a single roller tube. From shelter 40, perfect for shading a Garden table, to shelter 265, which is fitted on many hotel and restaurant terraces, our double-sloped awnings with protective cover guarantees freshness and sun protection. Unlike parasols, they are easy to handle and their feet take up little space on the ground.
It deploys like a parasol
The articulated arms deploy in perfect synchronization on either side of the roller tube. The motorized dual-slope awning has a single, robust roller tube. Maintenance is minimal. The fabric unrolls smoothly thanks to an adapted motorization up to 36m2 in its 265 version. These double-slope awnings can just as easily be fitted with a manual gear as for our compact awnings.
Well anchored to the ground
Our fasteners are robust and offer multiple anchoring possibilities for the professional double slope awning. A footing with a wide bar is available for spaces where it is not possible to drill a hole in the ground. This specific foot can be ballasted to keep the double slope on the ground during its use. We also offer a recessed footing (ST09) for a fixed and reinforced support.
Fabric protection
Our models have a cassette system protecting the fabric with anti-uv treatment. The 240, 265 and 325 models have a protective box. This protection of the fabric guarantees many years of use without degradation of the chosen fabric. The fabric can be rolled up completely and thus withstand harsh winters and bad weather. The professional double-slope awning offers the possibility, thanks to the addition of valences with optional lettering, to display your sign on the terrace.

The color of the fabric chosen “Dark Gray” for these 325 double-slope awning blends perfectly with the tones of this restaurant courtyard in Gironde. Two 325 shelters coexist here, one measuring 6mx6.5m on 2 feet and a very special adaptation from our client Stores Alpago. A wall bracket made especially for the second (6mx8m). These two shelters thus provide the necessary shade in the middle of summer for outdoor lunches for a large number of people.

To protect its large terrace, the “Los Arcos” bar-restaurant chose to install three double pitch 265 in a row. Fixed to the ground, the retractable awnings 265 offer a large area of sun protection (26m2 each maximum). Thanks to the mantling it indicates the opening hours and acts as its sign.
Their fabric unfolds symmetrically on either side of the winding tube, which gives them great stability.

At the edge of the pool we like to enjoy the sun for sunbathing but having a shady island is just as nice to protect against the harmful rays of the sun.
