Are you at a loss when your home heats up too quickly in summer? However, do you want to keep the advantage of your bay windows in winter and not completely close your openings in summer? The bioclimatic solar awning is the solution.
With adjustable slats like the bioclimatic pergolas in our range, the bioclimatic awning can be manoeuvred to provide more or less sun protection. It regulates your indoor temperature to maximise your summer comfort.
Light regulation
This awning with 0° to 45° adjustable slats is fitted with the same slats as the Mathilda small bioclimatic pergola. This means it has a robust mechanism and offers optimum protection from the sun’s heat once the slats are closed. What’s more, when fitted with the optional waterproof cover, it is connected to the façade for perfect blackout.
Manual operation
This bioclimatic solar awning does not require an electrical supply to operate. A crank handle is all you need to regulate the desired light intensity. As the size of each module is small, operation is simple and effortless.
Modular over long lengths
The side profiles can be joined together to create protection along the entire length of a commercial building, for example. Each bioclimatic awning module has a maximum width of 2 metres and a maximum overhang of 1.016 metres, depending on the pitch of the slats. It is available with 4, 5 or 6 slats parallel to the façade.
