The multi-purpose aluminium window awning
The simple projection awning is based on the principle of the Italian window awning, which provides protection from the sun during the day. It is widely used in Spain in loggias, and is a common sight on building facades in warmer countries. With global warming, this is a product with a bright future for sun protection professionals. Its main advantage is that it can cover large areas.
The MITJAVILA single spring projection awning tilts up to 160°. With a maximum tilt of 160°, you can offer your customers maximum sun protection and privacy. With a maximum dimension of almost 5 metres and an overhang of 1.5 metres, it is one of the largest on the market. A bay window can be fitted if you prefer this solar protection to a conventional awning.
Motorised drop-arm awning
We offer this projection awning in manual or motorised versions. Two motorisations are available for greater convenience. One with mechanical limit switches with emergency operation or electronic limit switches. A wind operator (vibration sensor) can be added for added peace of mind.
Repairable spring arm
The clever arm fitted to the projection awning can be tensioned on site before installation. The tension is adjusted using a hexagonal key. The fabric is pre-assembled on the Roller tube; only the arms need to be fitted on site. The arm can be completely dismantled and repaired.
Multiple ways of fitting
The MITJAVILA projection awning can be installed in a variety of ways. An advantage that makes it suitable for a wide range of sites. On the façade, on the ceiling or even in a recess (panel) with the same part designed for these three types of installation.
This support part (SU16) is also used for our guide awning. By using the same part for several types of awning, you as a professional can optimise your stock levels.
New part to support the arms
This new part has been specially designed to benefit from an arm locking system. This makes it easier to fit than the old version. A pin is provided to pre-tension the arm before final fitting. What’s more, the base has been enlarged for façade installation, to make drilling easier.
